I originally wrote “This means any video I am involved in with 1,000+ views.” I haven’t been promoting it very much, but Crumb Bandit and I made a music video a long time ago for our hit song Decapitation by Cement in our metal project Direct Metal Index. Checking on it now, we have 2,036 views! I was shocked to discover this. I feel like I should have shot a bit higher, but that is a lot of views either way, and I am totally cool with 2,000. WIN.

This last Christmas, I got my girlfriend Julia a make-your-own sushi kit. So come Valentine’s Day, we went out and got some ingredients and… MADE OUR OWN SUSHI. My lifelist requires that I make all the things on my list from scratch, so we did! The only thing that wasn’t from scratch was the tempura mix, but the california rolls were made entirely from scratch (I guess you could make an argument about the crab being imitation, but fuck you, if that’s the case). We even made our own “sushi rice” (seen here in the back).
The sushi started off not looking too great for the first 3 rolls or so. Eventually, it got a lot better with the last 3 rolls. Either way, it was fucking delicious.

Other things I need to make from scratch in order to complete this item on my list: Beef stroganoff, teriyaki chicken, chicken adobo, chicken parmesan, shrimp fettucini alfredo, and rigatoni with roasted white chicken…. And by “scratch”, I mean SCRATCH. For example, I can make teriyaki chicken by using a bottle of teriyaki sauce, but I’d like to make my own teriyaki sauce.

Future progress on this lifelist item: 2

Finished this one on February 13th, 2010. I won’t give away our team name, but let’s just say we were near the end. This was a pretty difficult race, and I don’t know that we came as prepared as we could have. Still, I was glad to be able to cross this one off of my list. We came dressed as scientists. I was the straight uptight one, and Julia was the crazy wacky one. What a couple we made! Some of the activites we had to included getting five from a dog, making a play-doh sculpture, eat some ice cream, lasso a bull, and find some kid on a skateboard! Overall, we had a great time, and I think we’ll do it next year, but hopefully we’ll be better prepared.

Now More Fun gets all political and shit

Conspiracies, Pissed off rants, Propaganda

This kind of shit infuriates the fucking hell out of me. Bipartisan politics that are nothing more than always voting at your party’s core and never thinking of thinking for your fucking self. And spouting off the same goddamn bullshit excuses. Thank god for politifact.com, who fact-checks these ass holes.
To sum it up: Obama wanted his stimulus bill to go through, and it didn’t because of Republican’s voting against it, who condemned him, and instead, they came up with THE EXACT SAME IDEAS, and praised themselves for making them come through. I really wish they went through every fucking Republican in this one, and just called them all out. Both parties are guilty of this kind of shit, I’m sure, but this anti-Obama “Nazi” rhetoric has got to fucking stop so we can get shit done.

Sonic goes the way of Megaman and Mario: RETRO

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 just announced. WiiWare, Xbox Arcade, whatever Playstation has…. I’m pretty psyched, honestly. I’ve been saying for fucking years that the industry needs to get back to 2D platforming and stop wasting so much goddamn time on graphics and focus on gameplay. RPGs could really stand to do this too. There’s too much shit going on, but if it were a 2D overworld-view type game, they could make it nearly limitless and so incredibly epic if they wanted to.
