I want to become a knight. It would be awesome. Apparently, knighthood is most often appointed to “High Court judges and senior civil servants.” How fucking great would that be?

I forget periodically that I need to journal at least some of my thoughts, but lately I haven’t written anything here in a while because my super sweet gateway has died, and am just now getting situated on my little bro’s Macbook.
Anyway, about poker. I was sluffing off all of my homework today playing online poker, when my poker buddies from drumline call me up and say they are hosting a small five person, ten dollar game. I came away noticing that I am bluffing myself very well in other parts of my life besides poker. I lie to myself and pretend that I won’t be any good. I need to give my skills a chance.
I love poker, because it satisfies my need for gambling, is generally cheaper than going to the casino, and is a great get together. It also can help me work out psychological problems, like tonight when I realized I was just bluffing my way through a music degree, but in reality, I believe I have a Flush. A nut flush as they say.
