“Nobody likes playing the heavy and having to resort to litigation,” said RIAA President Cary Sherman at the time. “But when your product is being regularly stolen, there comes a time when you have to take appropriate action. We simply cannot allow online piracy to continue destroying the livelihoods of artists, musicians, songwriters, retailers, and everyone in the music industry.” – the stabbing point of the article.

No internet for a week once summer starts. Or a week after summer starts. I waste WAY too much fucking time on here.

This useless old fucker and his twinkling cunt doesn't care if he gets hurt

If it were but a matter of faith
If it were measured in petitions and prayer
She would materialize, all fleshed out
But it is not, nor do I car
What a bizarre song
I feel like I’ve been such a cunt lately. I’m angry at everyone constantly. It feels good to make someone happy every now and then, and to really try to prioritize them instead of myself… But we’ll see how that keeps up?

Name your top 10 artists on last.fm
1. Local H
2. Ballboy
3. Radiohead
4. Muse
5. Pink Floyd
6. Dethklok
7. Queen
8. Paul Gilbert
9. Buckethead
10. Cake
Now answer the questions according to the numbers:
What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle… Same as everyone else.
What is your favourite album of 2?
Club Anthems, probably
What is your favourite lyric that 5 has sung?
I had a very hard time with this, but:
“And if I show you my dark side, will you still hold me tonight?” from The Final Cut
How many times have you seen 4 live?
Heh heh. THREE TIMES! WOOO
What is your favorite song by 7?
Holy fucking shit, seriously? This isn’t quite accurate, but I am going to have to go with, for right now at least, March of the Black Queen from Queen II…. Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy and The Millionaire Waltz and Dreamer’s Ball are all VERY close behind though!
What is a good memory you have involving the music of 10?
This reminds me a lot of the movie Sideways. It’s not what happens while you’re listening to Cake that is the special occassion, but listening to Cake is the special occasion itself! Specifically, I refer to when I first discovered Fashion Nugget… Or when I first discovered Comfort Eagle. Each time I listen to them, I am brought back to when I first discovered them and the amazing feeling I had.
Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
Not particularly, though they are all very touching. Many make me feel reminiscent, but not quite sad exactly. And many often tend to put me in a mood that is difficult to explain through words. That said, if I had to pick one, it would probably be True Love Waits.
What is your favorite lyric that 2 has sung?
Haha! What a tough one. While I love the title of Leave the Earth Behind and Take a Walk into the Sunshine, I don’t know that there is one specific line or phrase that stands out from the entire song, as it is all so beautiful and perfect. I guess I will have to go with my favorite funny song, Disney’s Ice Parade: “You left your notes on lesbian sex on the fishtank in the hall”
What is your favorite song by 9?
This one is tough because, even though he is at number 9, I’m not all THAT fond of him. He just has a lot of songs and I’ve attempted to get through all of them, but I’m not that close at all. Also, I feel he doesn’t really write that many songs as much as exercises in certain keys with the same licks over and over… Which is, admittedly, pretty harsh. He is an amazing guitarist and I am not worthy. Anyway, even though I can’t really listen through the whole song, let’s go with Moths to Flame just because it has quite possibly the greatest heavy metal intro to any song ever.
How did you get into 3?
I’m not even sure! Jake has always liked them, and I think my first real experience listening to them was being creeped out with Hail to the Thief on repeat all night long, or Luke’s performance of Fake Plastic Trees. Somewhere along the line, I downloaded Creep and their other singles and fell in love.
What was the first song you heard by 1?
Oh, God. Like it’s not obvious. Bound for the Floor.
What is your favorite song by 4?
Pff!!! At first this seemed difficult, but then I remembered Micro Cuts. No other song can hold a candle to it ever.
How many times have you seen 9 live?
Only once
What is a good memory you have involving 2?
Probably my best memory is walking around or sitting around listening to the ballboy podcasts and listen to Gordon’s stories and anecdotes and just feeling like I know him.
Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
Haha. He doesn’t have many sad songs. The only one that really strikes me as sad is Wrong Man… And I guess some Mr. Big songs make me sad that he quit Racer X for them. Haha.
What is your favorite album of 5?
No doubt The Final Cut, though The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon and Animals are all pretty amazing. Wish You Were Here has its moments too (that is, the first and last song (the same song))
What is your favorite lyric that 3 has sung?
Fuuuuuck. Again, this is like the ballboy song mentioned above, where I am in love with the whole song. But this song, particularly, the lyrics! I must go for Motion Picture Soundtrack… If I had to pick a particularly verse, I guess I’ll do the second one: “Stop sending letters/letters always get burned/It’s not like the movies/They fed us on little white lies”
What is your favorite song of 1?
Halcyon Days (Where Were You Then?)
What is your favorite song of 10?
This whole survey is so fucking hard. Sorry, but it is a 5 way tie between Shadow Stabbing, Comfort Eagle, Stickshifts and Safetybelts, Nugget, and Italian Leather Sofa
How many times have you seen 8 live?
Only once, but let’s hope he goes on G3 again
What is your favorite album of 1?
Origin of Symmetry
What is a great memory you have considering 9?
Eh… I guess seeing him live, more than anything. Not really many other memories involving him.
What was the first song you heard by 8?
I Like Rock, because I heard it sounded like Andrew W.K.
What is your favorite cover by 2?
They only do like three covers that I know of! And I am sure as hell not choosing the Springsteen song… So I guess Tell Me.
As seen on MySpace, top 10 SNES games!
Posted April 22, 2008 at 10:28 am by Severed Head
This is my own personal top 10 SNES games, as requested by Dru. I think you’ll find it QUITE agreeable.
1. Earthbound
2. Super Mario World
3. Chrono Trigger
4. The Legend Of Zelda – A Link To The Past
5. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
6. Super Metroid
7. Legend of the Mystical Ninja
8. Donkey Kong Country
9. Super Mario Kart
10. Kirby Super Star
Mind you, I had only played a few of the Final Fantasy games for SNES, and they didn’t stand out for me that much. Not as much as Chrono Trigger, at least.
Also, admittedly, this was harder than it looks. Once I got to number 4, I was all like “Shit. Now what?” and then it just became a list of my favorites, rather than the top 10.
But! I still think it to be quite a respectable list, as all of the games listed above regularly appear in top 10 SNES games lists. Also, Super Mario All-Stars was almost included, but I figured it didn’t really count.
Thinks yours is better? (It’s not)
Substance abuse, as defined by my Psych book
Philosophy, Pissed off rants, Propaganda
Posted April 20, 2008 at 1:45 pm by Severed Head
Psychologists usually define substance abuse as continued use of a substance after several episodes in which use of the substance has negatively affected an individual’s work, education, and social relationships.
Now I’m not saying that everyone who does drugs is a complete fucking idiot and a worthless loser, but of the majority of the people I know, of them, how many have jobs, attend school, or maintain healthy social relationships?
What a fulfilling lifestyle you must lead! Happy 420, you stupid dumbshit goddamn motherfuckers.

Holy fucking shit. I loved the movie but this book is just too much. I can only recommend it if you don’t imagine everything that you read in your head. And if you have an insanely strong stomach. And you probably also have to partially insane to really get through a lot of it too….
That said, what is motivating me more than anything right now is that I am so close to finishing it. The first 200 pages or so weren’t nearly as violent as the last half seems to be. I’ve nearly cried during some of the scenes. I don’t know that any killers are quite this bad.
But I don’t know if I even want to know.

Shit! What was the name of that totally sweet game? I guess this is more of a message for Crumb Bandit and could easily be asked over Facebook. But I am here now. SO GET OVER IT, EVERYONE ELSE WHO READS THIS SITE WHO ISN’T CRUMB BANDIT (haha)
