buttsecks?

Life, Music

buttsecks? lol.
Anyway. Slash is playing in Velvet Revolver on T right now. What a fricking douche bag. Just look at him play. And I mean. I guess I’d rather he have his entire face covered anyway. He is not the greatest looking guy in the world. But Freddie Mercury was ugly as hell, and he was the best singer ever.
Check out my nighttime playlist, which I made a while ago, for miscellaneous reasons, in case you should be out driving at night:
1. Muse-Interlude
Starting with an interlude? HE’S A MAD MAN, HE SAID TO HIMSELF (ABOUT HIMSELF)!
2. Brian May-Space
I don’t know. Seems like a nighttime song.
3. Sparrow And Whale-Feather Coat
Crumb Bandit’s brother’s side project thing. I really like this song. One of my favorite songs ever.
4. Sparrow And Whale-Caved In
Again, this song is really cool. Just plain good music, as far as I am concerned.
5. Super Furry Animals-Furryvision
Crumb Bandit gave me this song. Very relaxing and beautiful.
6. ballboy-Leave The Earth Behind You And Take A Walk Into The Sunshine
I really love this song. Gordon McIntyre was talking about it in one of the podcasts about how he and the band listened to it after they first recorded it and it was the first song they really felt great about. It all fits really well together, and has a really great song structure, and really accomplishes this amazing feeling…
7. The Section-Motion Picture Soundtrack
While the original song is beautiful, this one is pretty damn beautiful too. This is on the string quartet tribute to Radiohead.
8. The Beatles-Across The Universe
I have the “Naked” version on this list, because I really much more like the raw sounding version.
9. Azure Ray-Trees Keep Growing
I woke up to this song last night, because it’s on my sleep playlist too. It was this really great, weird feeling.
10. Christopher O’Riley-True Love Waits
Again, another tribute to Radiohead instead of Radiohead themselves. This is on the piano tribute. The original song’s great, and I love how the only released version is live, but I don’t much care for all the applause afterwards and whatnot. This version is a bit more relaxing, but still just as powerful.
11. Mattias IA Eklundh-Time To Breathe
I spent a few hours lying in a field listening to this song once. It was a really relaxing time, and it really calmed my nerves. Great song to listen to anytime you do need time to breathe. I believe Mattias said, regarding why he chose to put this in the middle of his noisy crazy solo CD, Freak Guitar, was that we all need time to breathe. Maybe I’m just making that up though.
12. Brendon Small-Coffins + Cradles Theme
This is from Home Movies. Very pretty song. The bass does the melody on this one.
13. Cowboy Bebop-[Untranslatable]
I don’t know who does this song. I got this from Clayton, and he has all the artists as “Cowboy Bebop”. I know. Lame. But whatever. It’s really pretty. Beyond words even!? So much so that it cannot be translated! This is the one that is 1:06 long. Track 16 on disc 2.

Good times.

Alex Mauer has just released the first ever album on a NES cartridge.  Go here to buy it. I know I will.

That hot chick on the front is a good thing too.

Fuck.
That.

Fuck that.
Seriously.
Had KoRn not already made “Ya’ll Want A Single?”, these would be the lyrics to a new song I’m writing, a sweet acoustic ballad about fucking and “that”, and “fucking that”, and doing it in a serious manner. “Seriously.”

Fuck. Just heard this song on Scrubs too. After seeing that finale though of The Sopranos, it seems to hold a special place in my heart.

It's A Wonderful Life

Life

Posted June 5, 2007 at 10:49 pm by Severed Head

Just go on every day imagining that this is what the world would be like if someone was never born, and in this world, that you know of, this person wasn’t born. That is, look at It’s A Wonderful Life. Now imagine how many people haven’t been born, and how much better the world could be if these people existed, but how they don’t really exist and think about how much more miserable we have become because of this. It’s really quite depressing!
What I am trying to say is that the premise for It’s A Wonderful Life is just retarded… Even though it is a good movie, and I like it. I just like playing the devil’s advocate and questioning everything you and I believe it. and being an ass hole. But I mean. Sure Jimmy Stuart or whatever his name was in the movie really did exist in the movie, but there are a shit load of people who have never existed!
God for example
