Looks like I picked a bad day to stop being horribly depresssed

You know. Like that phrase. Nobody probably thinks it’s as funny as I do. “I picked a bad day to stop drinking”.
Yeah. I don’t think anybody reads this site anymore. Not that I update it anymore. Except the occassional comic. Well maybe soon we will finish some songs and put them up. I am pretty pissed this week and heavy metal is totally practically flowing through my blood. No! Not even! Literally! (instead of practically)
You guys should comment more.
Maybe I need a new hobby.

And that hobby would be updating this site so I don’t waste my $2 a month!
Seriously though.
Any ideas? I’ve got many ideas for some stories. But I think it’s going to come off not subtle enough and everyone I know will be like “This character is totally me, isn’t it? You bastard!” I wonder how writers do it. If they do it. Oh, right. Nobody reads.

Bah.

I know! Start up some crazy government conspiracies! YES!!! I miss video games. I miss my mom. I really miss Pokey the Penguin and Girls Are Pretty though. And Strong Bad. Hence the [even more] obscure references. Remind me to keep reading. It makes me happy.

I think only I know what I’m talking about here. Joe or Jake might each be able to pick out a few parts here and there, but for the most part, you think you know, BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA!

College is great. The one-dimensional characters. The noise. The lack of intelligence. It’s like being in the non-advanced classes in high school except 24 hours a day. Seriously. I’m not that smart but I am doing a lot better than everyone here! Wtf? Does nobody else have AP? I guess they’re all going to smart colleges and stuff. Oh well. Life will be better with music theory.
Man, I wish I were into drugs. Now my only escape from any stress I have is really to get even more into my already busy schedule (take the bus home for an hour, hang out with my awesome girlfriend, take the bus for another hour, then it’s already pratically time to sleep). Or maybe I should just dedicate my entire life to propaganda and reading one-sided articles about what other people say (see: Republican party (also see: Democratic party (also see: STFU))).

I am also going to get a bass too I think. And it’s beautiful. Coming soon: The heavy ass metal. BIOTCH.

I feel trapped. Maybe I should take a walk. Maybe.

I would still lay down my life for you.

Quoting songs is emo.
True story.

So Maddox is a pretty cool guy. Signed my book. Likes Pokey the Penguin. Shook my hand. Fake smiled for all the cameras. Careful to all animals. Keeps in contact with old friends, enjoys a drink now and then. No chance of escape. Calm, fitter, healthier, and more productive. A pig in a cage on antibiotics.

Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis by Tom Waits

Ah, shit. My life is ruined when I found out that the Ataris covered that. Unless it’s really really good. But I doubt it.
Check out the new comic section. Er. the comic section. With new content. I really like today’s comic. And most of it was improv.

Dinosaur Comics brings up an interesting point, and a huge flaw in logic among parents… Or the comic just got me thinking.

A parents point of view:
Given:
All teenage murderers (teenagers who kill that is) are teenagers who play violent video games and listen to heavy metal.
Conclusion:
Teenagers shouldn’t play violent video games.

The false logic here is that all people in group A (murderers) are in group B (video game players/metal heads). This does not imply at all that all people in group B (video game players/metal heads) are also in group A (murderers). It is a simple matter of “If A is B, then B must be A!” false logic. I believe that’s the name for that kind of fallacy of logic. Those exact words.

I believe we may all be part of a collective consciousness. Since birth, invisible barriers are put up inbetween different types of people. Poor and rich. Black and White. Powerful and not powerful. Religious and non-religious. People don’t realize that we are all the same people, with, more or less, all the same thoughts and concerns.

I’ve been pondering this a lot lately, even in small terms, in the way that kids in my classes separate themselves from everyone else by spurting out answers, and instantly making themselves elite in their own minds.

This [Loose Change debate] is another example of this barrier stuff, except in a different context. Now, it appears to be between believers of one type of information, and believers of another type of information. It’s ridiculous. Sure one could try to fight from one side against another, but why? Why not try to make peace inbetween all people, instead of continuing to extend the barrier?
