I think maybe we should just start booking gigs here in Phoenix. I will find some that you and I can both make in terms of dates. If we get booked, I’ll really quickly record some shit and send it to you, and we’ll basically jam some songs off of that at the show since we won’t really have time to rehearse.
Just to get the ball rolling and play some fun shows. What do you think?

I am basically paying 7 grand to be on the U of A drumline this year. I am out of state tuition as of now, and I currently have no major. Yea, It is worth it, but only cause my parents are paying for it. I would rather have been in a drum corps, but my work ethic proves me otherwise.
Anyway, we talked about musicality, which in case you didn’t already know, is VERY difficult in the marching medium. It is easy to just play double forte the whole song, but add in a forte piano crescendo and it is like lifting fifty pounds with your wrists.
Once you start to understand what kind of musical phrase you want, you don’t have to worry about accuracy and technicality as much, because it starts to come naturally.
This is what kind of metal band you will see out of my hands if I am ever in one. Not one just of distortion, screaming and booze-blood.
If you happen to know of a band that already sounds like what I am thinking of, let me know.

AGAINST gun background checks!? Why the fuck does everyone hate these so much! What could the situation possibly be that someone needs a gun so fucking bad! I mean, I understand the right to bear arms is in the constitution, but not every stupid ass hole out there should be able to have a gun!
AGAINST abortion? Fuck that! We don’t need more dumbasses having kids, goddammit!
AGAINST embryonic stem cells?!? Come on!! What possible negative effects could there be other than some stupid fucking embryo dying? (Side note: I think it’s kind of funny/ironic/something that conservatives accuse liberals of being “bleeding hearts”, but the conservatives are the ones so worried about embryos (not even really human considering the definition defines it as starting from the fertilization (it could be just some sperm and some egg cells and that’s it! how is that a human life!))))))
Screw Ron Paul! He is not as cool as I once thought he was!
I do like that he is one of the few against the Patriot Act, but while I do agree with this for philosophical reasons, for all practical reasons, I’m probably not going to be wiretapped and it’s not really something I have to really worry about that much. It doesn’t take away any of my rights other than that of privacy, which, I think, is to me, not quite as important as the idea that there are no background checks for guns or the right to have an abortion or net neutrality (I mean what the fuck!!) or progress in science!
Edit:
He’s also against a minimum wage increase!? In what crazy fucking world do you live in where 6.75 is even close to being enough to make a living!? I mean I know you don’t want your precious corporations losing a tiny bit of money so people can live comfortably, but that’s fucked up!
And against universal healthcare? Fuck that!

But it feels so good
I feel like a writer, which makes it hurt worse. Nothing hurts worse than being a writer. It’s the only thing that sets the core of your soul on a mountain full of Lava and sharp rocks, except actually being set on fire. And demons, if you are lucky enough to have company. Sometimes you can even talk to them. They can actually be more open minded than some of the people down here in Arizona. But thats a different subject.
